Cage mooring rope
Connecting segment between buoy and chain elements in cage mooring systems. Floating construction reduces bottom pull and maintains mooring line geometry. Common in NS 9415-compliant mooring designs.
ASAKUA supplies polypropylene rope for fish cage mooring systems and marine operations. PP rope floats with a specific gravity of 0.91, reducing bottom load and increasing system elasticity when combined with chain in cage mooring applications. UV-stabilised construction maintains identical dry and wet performance. The available diameter and breaking load range covers small cage systems through open-sea installations.
Connecting segment between buoy and chain elements in cage mooring systems. Floating construction reduces bottom pull and maintains mooring line geometry. Common in NS 9415-compliant mooring designs.
Supplied for lashing HDPE workboats, floating jetties and platforms. Non-abrasive construction and floating property make it compatible with HDPE marine equipment.
Large-diameter high-MBL rope for long-line mussel farming, crane lashing and heavy industrial applications. 12-strand construction distributes load more evenly across rope cross-section.
3-, 8- and 12-strand PP rope: specific gravity 0.91, melting point 165°C, elongation at break approximately 18%. UV stabilisation is standard; acid and alkali resistance is excellent, oil/gas resistance is good. Wet and dry strength values are identical. Breaking load ranges from 770 kgf at 6mm to 224,600 kgf at 120mm diameter. Colour and marker are specified per order.
