ASAKUA
HDPE WORKBOAT — CE-CERTIFIED

HDPE Workboat

CE-certified polyethylene workboats — standard 5.5 m and 7.5 m models with project-specific builds up to 10 m. Outboard-powered hull, four-compartment watertight chambers, side and bottom fender system. Engineered for fish farm transfer operations, inshore fishing and general marine service.

SYSTEM CORE

Polyethylene workboats are rotationally moulded from high-density material at our İzmir facility. Compared to steel or aluminium hulls there is no corrosion, no paint or caulking maintenance, and field damage can be repaired in place. Our standard 5.5 m and 7.5 m models are CE-certified; class certification from Turkish Lloyd (TL) or Bureau Veritas (BV) is available on request. With a four-compartment watertight hull, side and bottom fender system and outboard motor mount, the boat arrives ready for fish farm and marine service operations.

APPLICATION SCENARIOS

Designed for these scenarios.

SCENARIO 01

Cage farm transfer and service

Personnel, equipment, feed and harvest material transfer across the cage farm. Side and bottom fender system protects the hull during mooring and transit between cage rings; the low-maintenance design simplifies day-to-day operation.

SCENARIO 02

Inshore fishing and coastal service

Robust alternative for small and mid-scale inshore fishing, inspection, rescue and service operations along the coastline. The polyethylene hull is resistant to oil and petroleum; fuel spills do not affect hull integrity. Unlike inflatable boats, no continuous air pressure maintenance is required.

SCENARIO 03

Floating platform and temporary raft

The same polyethylene hull technology can be configured to meet temporary platform and raft requirements at cage sites. Additional floats and modular decking expand capacity; the assembly is rapidly prepared for on-site deployment.

TECHNICAL

Optimized structural behavior.

The boat hull is rotationally moulded from UV- and thermally-stabilised high-density polyethylene — no welds, seams or joints. The process eliminates the metal-hull maintenance cycle expected in marine service: no painting, no caulking, no continuous corrosion management. Field damage can be repaired in place by hot welding the polyethylene.

A four-compartment watertight pontoon and hull system delivers passive buoyancy safety — even with one compartment punctured, the boat stays afloat. Standard 5.5 m and 7.5 m models carry deck layouts optimised for cage operations and general service; the side and bottom fender system protects the hull during mooring manoeuvres. Lengths beyond 10 m are produced on a project-specific basis.

The outboard motor mount is standard; motor fitting is performed by the customer or, on request, at our facility. CE certification is included; Turkish Lloyd (TL) and Bureau Veritas (BV) class certification is provided per project. The polyethylene hull is chemically resistant to oils, petroleum and fuel — useful for fuel transfer, marine service and waste collection applications.
