ASAKUA
FLOATING BARRIER — PREDATOR & DEBRIS

Floating Barrier

ASAKUA-manufactured floating barrier in HDPE rotomould; three types for predator protection, debris containment and security. Fish farm, harbour and environmental projects.

SYSTEM CORE

Floating barriers are modular floating obstacle systems rotationally moulded from UV-stabilised HDPE at ASAKUA's Menemen facility. The portfolio covers three types: predator protection, debris and containment, and security barriers. Hull, connecting hardware and float system are fully ASAKUA-manufactured, not supplied.

APPLICATION SCENARIOS

Designed for these scenarios.

SCENARIO 01

Cage site predator protection

Predator barrier deployed along fish cage perimeter physically prevents dolphins, seals and similar marine fauna from approaching the cage. Standard safety layer in NS 9415-compliant cage installations.

SCENARIO 02

Harbour and coastal debris containment

Floating barrier line at harbour entrances, river mouths and coastal zones to contain plastic debris, floating waste and fuel spills. Used in environmental projects and emergency response scenarios.

SCENARIO 03

Security and access control

Security barrier for restricted marine zones, aquaculture facilities, shipyards and coastal structures requiring perimeter access limitation. Reflective or LED equipment can be added for night visibility.

TECHNICAL

Optimized structural behavior.

Barrier body is rotationally moulded from UV-stabilised virgin polyethylene. Inter-module connections use galvanised steel or stainless hardware. Float sizing and barrier type are determined on a project basis according to application requirements. Site installation can be executed by ASAKUA teams.
