ASAKUA designs the feed barge as part of turnkey cage projects — sized to site data, target stocking density and feeding regime — and builds it at our Izmir facility.

The structure is built as a steel or HDPE hull — sized to site conditions, transport access and operator preference. Feed silos are subdivided to project demand; the distribution line runs from below to each cage via pneumatic or mechanical transfer. The control room houses operator interfaces, distribution software and monitoring equipment in fitted panels. The generator set is sized to power demand plus standby reserve, with a noise and emissions enclosure in a separate compartment. ASAKUA engineering teams design flotation, structural strength, mooring and system integration alongside the rest of the cage project.
